What is Girls on the Run? Participating in GOTR transforms lives by helping students increase self-confidence, develop healthy relationships, and feel good about themselves - inside and out. It’s an 8-week, after-school program like no other! Kids of all abilities will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels, and learn important life skills. Each season comes to an end with a joyful and fun non-competitive 5K. This culmination gives kids a tangible sense of accomplishment and the confidence to be the author of their own story.

When & Where? Tuesdays & Thursdays Sept. 14 through mid-November, 3:15-4:45 p.m. at Great River School. We’ll meet outside, stay physically distanced and wear masks. An outdoor, but covered area at GRS has been secured so we can still meet outside if it’s raining, or in the gym in case of severe weather.
While the name of the program is Girls on the Run, non-binary folks are welcome to participate. We'll refer to participants by name or as "runners" or "athletes" rather than "girls" to be more inclusive of non-binary participants.
Fall GOTR Registration is the link for families to register - cost is $125. If you need a scholarship, just indicate in your registration. No runner is turned away! Also, there are options to support other runners.
