LIST (League of Independent School Teams) is a consortium of private and charter schools that organize co-ed sports, including soccer, basketball and volleyball, specifically for middle schools in the Twin Cities. The mission of LIST is to introduce students to these sports in a manner that is intentionally co-ed and cross grade-level. Participation and fair conduct is encouraged over competition. LIST also encourages teams to practice only once or twice a week, with games every Friday. Students are exposed to the experience without it becoming overwhelming or all-encompassing. Great River School may partner with Twin Cities German Immersion School in forming LIST teams.

To be eligible for LIST Athletics:

  1. Have a current sports physical on file with GRS (expires every 3 years).

  2. Pay appropriate registration fees at the beginning of the season. Please make checks out to Great River School.

  3. Sign a Liability Medical Release form.

  4. Read and abide by the Code of Conduct.
